Dentist - Help Needed - Dickinson, ND
The Community Action Head Start/Early Head Start at 107 3rd Ave SE, Dickinson, is looking for a dental office dentist or dental hygienist available to do dental screenings on 132 children ranging in age from infant to 5 years old in October or November. This screening is done as part of Head Start's performance standards, it is required that a child has a dental home within 30 days of enrollment and a dental exam within 90 days of enrollment. For those who can have it, fluoride varnish is usually applied. A Medicaid number can be provided for reimbursed. The screenings can be done in 1 day or split into two days.

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist who wants to help kids love coming to the dentist. The ideal candidate will be eager to work in a team environment, provide individualized care and come with an intensity to learn and expand their dental skills.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and other treatments in an office and OR setting. - Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care. - Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Stay current on advancements in pediatric dentistry and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
Qualifications: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. - Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program. - Board certification or eligibility in pediatric dentistry. - State licensure in North Dakota. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment.
